School Support Therapist
Description
The School Support Therapist is responsible for providing conscientious services and aid to LIFECORE Health Group’s consumers with behavioral, mental, emotional, or physical emotional problems.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and/or day treatment in the school setting
- Consult with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to determine causes of problems and effect solutions
- Arrange for medical, psychiatric and other assessment and evaluative measures that may disclose causes of difficulties and indicate remedial outcomes
- Administer various assessments/inventories toward positive outcomes in treatment
- Participate in all training required by the Department of Mental Health, LIFECORE Health Group and Board and Licensure renewal venues so as to maintain current licensures and credentials
- Adhere to quality assurance guidelines
- Provide all required documentation pertinent to provision of services
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work
- Certification or Licensure by the Department of Mental Health or State Licensure Board
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Car Insurance
