The Fruition Peer Support Specialist provides assistance to individuals to regain control of their lives and their own recovery and resiliency process.
Assist clients towards person-centered activities that allow them and their family members the opportunity to direct their own recovery and advocacy processes.
Adhere to quality assurance guidelines
Provide all required documentation pertinent to provision of services
Participate in all training required by the Department of Mental Health and LIFECORE Health Group so as to maintain current credentials
Participate in Local MAP Teams
Other duties as assigned
Current or former client or first degree family member of an individual who has received treatment for and self-identifies as a client or former mental health client
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Demonstration of a minimum of twelve months in self-directed recovery
Completion of at least one of the Department of Mental Health’s recognized peer support training programs
Department of Mental Health’s certification as a Peer/Family Support Specialist
Valid Class D Driver’s License
