Description

The Cook will contribute to the excellence of LIFECORE Health Group by preparing and serving quality meals to CDS residents.

Responsibilities

Prepare all meals to meet the requirements of the USDA and other dietary requirements
Meet the requirements of the Mississippi Department of Health, and any other regulatory agencies
Follow recipes and use proper measuring utensils when preparing food
Work scheduled shifts to ensure adequate coverage for all meals
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for all work areas, tools, serving pieces, trays, flatware, and other kitchen and cafeteria items
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Four years of experience in food service

Food handler’s certificate

Ability to routinely life 20 pounds
