Description
The Cook will contribute to the excellence of LIFECORE Health Group by preparing and serving quality meals to CDS residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all meals to meet the requirements of the USDA and other dietary requirements
- Meet the requirements of the Mississippi Department of Health, and any other regulatory agencies
- Follow recipes and use proper measuring utensils when preparing food
- Work scheduled shifts to ensure adequate coverage for all meals
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for all work areas, tools, serving pieces, trays, flatware, and other kitchen and cafeteria items
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Four years of experience in food service
Food handler’s certificate
Ability to routinely life 20 pounds
