CDS Therapist

Description

The Addiction Services Therapist will help lead LIFECORE; Addiction Services to excellence by providing clinical services within residential and/or outpatient for substance abuse/mental health. Assist individuals and families within the elements of Recovery Oriented Systems of Care.

Responsibilities

Promote LIFECORE; Addiction Services in a professional manner at community events and networking opportunities.
Provide clinical services that include individual, family and group therapy to individuals and families with substance abuse, mental, emotional and/or physical/emotional problems.
Serve as a recovery agent by providing and advocating for any effective recovery based services that will aid the client in daily living.
Work with the treatment team to develop a treatment/recovery plan based on each client’s identified goals.
Maintain a working knowledge of current trends and developments in the mental health field and attend continuing education seminars and other training when offered and authorized.
Other duties as assigned.
Must maintain 25 hours of billing productivity per week.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the Recovery process and the ability to facilitate recovery using established standardized mental health processes.
Knowledge of the signs and symptoms of mental illness and the ability to assist the client to address symptoms.
Master’s Degree in behavioral health field. Licensed/Certified or eligible. A minimum of one (1) year non-abusive use of substances is required for all individuals.
