Addiction Services Therapist
Description
The Addiction Services Therapist will help lead LIFECORE; Addiction Services to excellence by providing clinical services within residential and/or outpatient for substance abuse/mental health. Assist individuals and families within the elements of Recovery Oriented Systems of Care.
Responsibilities
- Promote LIFECORE; Addiction Services in a professional manner at community events and networking opportunities.
- Provide clinical services that include individual, family and group therapy to individuals and families with substance abuse, mental, emotional and/or physical/emotional problems.
- Serve as a recovery agent by providing and advocating for any effective recovery based services that will aid the client in daily living.
- Work with the treatment team to develop a treatment/recovery plan based on each client’s identified goals.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current trends and developments in the mental health field and attend continuing education seminars and other training when offered and authorized.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must maintain 25 hours of billing productivity per week.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Recovery process and the ability to facilitate recovery using established standardized mental health processes.
- Knowledge of the signs and symptoms of mental illness and the ability to assist the client to address symptoms.
- Master’s Degree in behavioral health field. Licensed/Certified or eligible. A minimum of one (1) year non-abusive use of substances is required for all individuals.
