The Addiction Services Therapist will help lead LIFECORE; Addiction Services to excellence by providing clinical services within residential and/or outpatient for substance abuse/mental health. Assist individuals and families within the elements of Recovery Oriented Systems of Care.
· Promote LIFECORE Addiction Services in a professional manner at community events and networking opportunities. · Provide clinical services that include individual, family and group therapy to individuals and families with substance abuse, mental, emotional and/or physical/emotional problems. · Serve as a recovery agent by providing and advocating for any effective recovery-based services that will aid the client in daily living. · Work with the treatment team to develop a treatment/recovery plan based on each client’s identified goals. · Maintain a working knowledge of current trends and developments in the mental health field and attend continuing education seminars and other training when offered and authorized. · Other duties as assigned. · Must maintain 25 hours of billing productivity per week
Knowledge of the Recovery process and the ability to facilitate recovery using established standardized mental health processes. · Knowledge of the signs and symptoms of mental illness and the ability to assist the client to address symptoms. · Master’s degree in behavioral health field. Licensed/Certified or eligible. · A minimum of one (1) year of non-abusive use of substances is required for all individuals.
