Oversight of the programmatic and budgeting components of the Lifecore Health Group Crisis Stabilization Unit

Responsibilities

Supervises the activities of professional, technical, and supporting staff in performing specific agency functions or services.
Performs a variety of administration tasks dealing with programmatic management, fiscal management, strategic planning, legal compliances, and required related to the agency.
Interview prospective department employees, participate in disciplinary procedures and perform employee evaluations including recommendations for promotion.
Act as patients’ rights advocate by insuring that patients receive quality and compassionate care at all times.
Update program procedure manuals as necessary
Treat individuals receiving services, family members, staff, volunteers, visitors, governments agencies, and the general public with respect, dignity, and courtesy at all times. Conduct yourself in a manner which leaves a favorable impression with the public.
Adhere to all DMH Operational Standards, Division of Medicaid Standards, and Lifecore Health Group Policies and Procedures.
Respect and uphold the confidentiality of individuals receiving services, their family members, colleagues, and any sensitive situations arising within the agency.
Participate in all training required for specific position and by the agency at large.
On-call 24 hours per day, seven days per week
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or other related Mental Health Field
Hold a professional license, or obtain and maintain DMH credentialing for Therapist, MH, IDD, and/or A&D, whichever is appropriate to the population being served.
Have at least 3 years Master’s level experience in mental health.
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish professional relationships with clients and staff.
